(as on 31.12.2008): Normally below 55 years
for Professor, 45 years for Associate Professor and 40 years for
Assistant Professor, 50 years for
Registrar and 35 years for Assistant Technical Officer(Radio) (as on
31.12.2007). Relaxation upto 5 years
in case of SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.
Other things being equal,
preference shall be given to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC.
If none of the applicants is considered suitable, the Selection Committee may
also consider suitable candidate from outside the list of applicants( applicable
only teaching posts i.e. 1-3)
The Institute reserves the right
not to fill-up the vacancy advertised if the circumstances so warrant.

of travel:
Outstation candidates called for interview will be paid one-way AC-3 tier rail
fare (or bus fare where there is no train connection) from place of residence to
Delhi
by the shortest route.
