Professor English Journalism

A Ph. D. in Media studies or related  area with the disertation topic pertaining to any aspect of journalism published work in communication/mass communication, English or Indian Language/Journalism from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from foreign University.

Work experience as a senior level-practicing journalist in a leading Newspaper/Publication.

Job Profile:  This is a senior level position where the candidate is expected to guide and coordinate the Post-graduate Programme in journalism.  Work experience in the Media supported by academic inclination and interest is needed, as the Institute is involved in training, education and research.  The candidate is also expected to coordinate and initiate a programme of publishing text books in Journalism.
